Build a Bouquet Class
Join us at the Garden School as we learn about the basics of bouquet building and create a beautiful arrangement to take home by the end of the class. Cut your own fresh flowers right from our You-Pick area at Mission Meadows Community Garden. We have rows of blooms just waiting to be picked. We are hosting two classes today! Bring a friend or come alone and meet new friends! All supplies provided. Registration is required as class size is limited.

You-Pick Flowers and Farmers Market
Help us round out the season with more beautiful flowers and fresh veggies! Come take home some wonderful garden produce and pick a bucket of blossoms! Supplies for You-Pick Flowers provided, Donations accepted & welcomed.

Fall Harvest Event
Join us for a Final “HURRAH!” at Mission Meadows Community Garden as we bring the season to a close. Help us celebrate a bountiful growing year! There will be pumpkins galore, end of season produce, and our final You-Pick evening.

Bring your mat & Join us for an evening of Outdoor Yoga! Our very own SherPryia is back at the Garden to lead yoga enthusiasts of all levels thru a tranquil outdoor yoga class at Mission Meadows. Being in nature can enhance your sense of connection to the earth and foster a deeper sense of peace and relaxation during your practice. SherPryias class is a always Garden favorite! No class fee, but donations are appreciated.

Herbal Plants and Preparations
Join us at the Garden for a hands on demonstration and discussion on Herbal Plants and Preparations. The class is led by our Garden Friend and Naturopathic Doctor, Tolulola Bayode, ND. We will learn about different techniques and preparations for herbal remedies we can make at home from the bounty that can be found in our very own gardens! We will be making an herbal tincture to take home. Registration is required as class size is limited.

Join Mission Meadows and Growing Neighbors as we Learn to cook garden to table recipes from local growers and chefs in Spokane. Chef Holly will be hosting this meal!

Students in the Garden!
Mission Meadows and McDonald Elementary are teaming up to teach kids about Gardening! Elementary school children have arranged a field trip to learn about Garden Friends, composting, planting & harvesting at Mission Meadows. The Garden will be a bustle of activity today from 9am - noon.

Mission Meadows Presentation as Grant Recipient from Associated Garden Clubs of Spokane
As a recipient of Associated Garden Clubs grant in 2024, Mission Meadows will be presenting on how our grant funds were utilized at our garden. Join us and other grant recipients as we show what Associated Garden Clubs Grants have made possible in the Greater Spokane area!

Dahlias for Donations & Spring Seedling Swap
Our first ‘official’ event of 2025!! Bring a friend, come tour the garden, see what we’re growing this season! We will have dahlia tubers available! Make a donation to the garden and in exchange take home a few tubers! We will also have vegetable, and herb starts available to help you jump start your garden! Even if you don’t have seedling to swap, we will have plenty to share.

New Season Orientation
Welcome to the 2025 growing season! Orientation for new & returning gardeners! Join us before hand to help us complete some of our Garden Work Day Projects! One garden orientation is required for Mission Meadows gardeners. If unable to attend, please contact Management team for alternate arrangements.

Edible Tree Project & Garden Work Day - Tree Pruning & Garden Chores
Spokane Edible Tree Project (SETP) has been connecting fruit tree owners, volunteers, food banks, & community organizations since 2013. Eli will be at Mission Meadows for this event to teach us more about their program and help us trim our fruit trees. It’s a perfect day to get things done at the Garden! Work party to follow tree trimming. Bring your gloves & dress for the weather.
