The Market Garden

A MARKET WITH A MISSION

Permaculture Principals

Here at Mission Meadows, we grow our flowers and vegetables using Permaculture Principals. We avoid the use of herbicides and pesticides. We use companion planting for plant and animal benefits. We make our own compost to use as fertilizer. We make conscious choices about the products we use in our garden care and maintenance.

Propogate.

We promote and encourage the development of small-scale agriculture at the Garden. In a designated area, we grow larger crops than the traditional community garden plot with the intent to provide for our gardeners and the community.

Plant.

With the help of volunteers and gardeners we tend and harvest the Market Garden with companion and succession planting methods to increase and improve our yields.

Provide.

We create access to locally grown food to all types of consumers through donations to families in need and hosting a small Farmers Market regularly throughout the season.
