A Market with a Mission
Mission Meadows is a community-planted garden — volunteers tend, harvest, and bring the bounty to our Market Garden every other Wednesday throughout the growing season. Anyone in the community is welcome to take home fresh, organically-grown produce, free of charge.
Donations are gratefully accepted but never required.
How We Grow It
At Mission Meadows, we grow our flowers and vegetables the way nature intended—no herbicides, no pesticides. We pair plants that help each other thrive, turn our own scraps into compost, and choose every product in the garden with care.
Propagate.
We promote and encourage the development of small-scale agriculture at the Garden. In a designated area, we grow larger crops than the traditional community garden plot with the intent to provide for our gardeners and the community.
Plant.
With the help of volunteers and gardeners we tend and harvest the Market Garden with companion and succession planting methods to increase and improve our yields.
Provide.
We create access to locally grown food for the whole community by hosting the Garden Market every other Wednesday through the season — free for anyone who comes.
